About This Opportunity
An opportunity exists to support clinical trial coordination and provide assistance in the implementation of specific research projects conducted in the Queensland Brain Institute.
The successful incumbent will be involved in both administrative and operational support for current and new clinical research neuromodulation studies. This will be achieved through close working relationships with researchers, clinical and professional staff.
This position will be located at QBI on UQ’s picturesque St Lucia campus and the hospital sites of St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital at Spring Hill, and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital at Herston.
Our Ideal Candidate
To be successful, you will ideally hold a degree in a related field partnered with relevant experience. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive organisational approach, and the ability to independently problem solve. In addition, you will hold an awareness of principles of confidentiality, privacy and information handling, as well as knowledge of ethics processes and governance procedures/documentation.
Experience with administration of coordinating human studies and/or clinical trials will be highly regarded.

What We Can Offer
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE, 3 days a week), fixed term position for 12 months at HEW level 5. Whilst we have some flexibility with days, we are ideally looking for someone who can include Thursdays as part of their work pattern.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $70,796 - $78,852 per annum plus super of up to 17%.
